After 17 years in Buenos Aires and Berlin, he returned to Brazil in 2023, settling in Rio de Janeiro and founding the production company Cinema do Futuro.  He created video performances and installations in cities such as Kyiv, Beirut, Vienna, Poznań, Munich and Buenos Aires, exploring new possibilities for moving images and themes related to identity, gender and displacement. His first short film, Leaving, was shot on cell phones, premiered at BAFICI, and won the international award at the Viña del Mar Film Festival in Chile in 2012. Then he directed #YA, about civil disobedience in urban and digital spaces, presented at the 65th Berlinale, BFI London, FNC Montreal, Canal Arte, among others (2015-2016). He was artist-in-residence at Villa Waldberta (AIR Munich, 2022) and at Museu do Amanhã (Affective Technologies, Rio de Janeiro, 2024), where he developed Save the Dance – a road movie in digital landscapes. Selected for SESC Pulsar in Brazil (2026) as an expanded audiovisual performance, the 3D animation film is currently in post-production. His next film, Around the #Sun, received development awards from FIDBA (Argentina), Sheffield Doc Fest (United Kingdom), Bio Bio (Chile), and FAM (Brazil) in 2025. He recently created In Search of the Miraculous - a VR artwork in the sea of Rio de Janeiro, commissioned by UNESCO, Museu do Amanhã and the Boticário Foundation, as part of the United Nations Decade of the Oceans.
